My life went from black & white to color when I stepped into the spiritual world of International Centers for Spiritual Living. The color has become more and more vibrant inside and out and I feel profoundly blessed. Life is Brilliant!
I live, move, breathe and have my being in a universe that works for me. This teaching helps me remember to keep this awareness, this consciousness, at the front of my thinking.
- Jay Poindexter
We’re forever grateful for this teaching – It has given us the substance with which to live in our Truth, to create music and bring healing to ourselves and the world.
- Craig & Laura Berman Benelli
I am constantly amazed and inspired by the abundance of love present and the lives that are being lived by my center's members and leaders! Due to these teachings I live every day to the fullest, giving thanks for the light and consciousness that has been passed along to me!

VI. PRACTITIONER STUDIES
Practitioner Training: Year 1
The first year of Professional Practitioner Studies is devoted to self-awareness and healing where necessary. The year is divided into three terms, consisting of ten weeks each, with studies focused in the following areas:
Term 1: How Life Gets to Be the Way It Is
Term 2: Living a Life of Choice
Term 3: Living Life Fully
Each term will include treatment, meditation, reading, writing, journaling, experiential activities, a term paper, and a final examination.
Length of Course: 30 Weeks/3 terms.
Practitioner Training: Year 2
The second year of professional practitioner studies is about “The Life of the Professional Practitioner.” It focuses on the consciousness, skills, and responsibilities of the Practitioner, and the relationship of the Practitioner to the Principles we teach, to the client, to the process in healing, to the spiritual center, to the community and to the world.
Length of Course: 30 Weeks/3 terms
There is a written examination at the end of the second year, which is the first step in the licensing process. Upon passing the written exam, licensing candidates proceed to an oral examination by a panel of ministers and practitioners. After successfully passing the oral examination, the individual is licensed by Centers for Spiritual Living.
The individual is then ready to serve as a licensed Professional Practitioner for their spiritual community. They are also licensed to conduct private spiritual coaching sessions as an established business for themselves, and are eligible to enter into Ministerial Training.
A license is valid for two years. Licenses are then renewed every two years upon validation of 250 hours of service, referred to as Continuing Licensing Units (CLU’s) and 35 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)
Additional Policies and Procedures apply, such as 5-year time limits on prerequisites. Contact the Spiritual Director for details. We are here to support you on your spiritual journey!
